REP NEWSLETTER SEPTEMBER 2022
It’s been a while since we contacted you and we hope that you are all well. We are now able to make plans for our future programme. Our next production will be at the Ukrainian Centre, and we are looking forward to rehearsing and performing there after so long. We hope that you will be able to come along and welcome you to our first production there since February 2020.
Our Next Production
“A Fish in the Dark” by Larry David
Dave Davies is directing along with Ryan Dunn as co-director.
It’s an hilarious American comedy written by the Emmy award winning star of “Curb your Enthusiasm”, and which opened on Broadway a few years ago.
It’s a fast paced brilliantly funny play with a large cast using young and older members.
It will be performed at the Ukrainian Centre on Saturday and Sunday November 26th and 27th at 7.30 pm.
April 2023 Production at Cast
Chris Green will be directing “The Girl on the Train” by Rachel Wagstaffe. The production will start on Friday 28th April 2023, then Saturday matinee and Saturday evening 29th April in the second space at Cast.
“The Girl on the Train” was the bestselling thriller book by Paula Hawkins, later made into a popular film starring Emily Blunt, and now as a thrilling play by The Rep.
Supporting the Rep with Amazon Smile
One way you may want to support the Rep might be by using Amazon Smile when you do your online shopping. It’s easy to set up an Amazon Smile account. You just state your chosen charity- in our case it’s Doncaster Amateur Players, and Amazon will generate a small donation. There is also an App you can use.
Thanks for your continued support. We are all looking forward to an exciting new season for The Rep. I will be sending regular up- dates.
