“One Man Two Guvnors”
Huge congratulations to Ryan for directing this complex comedy, and for taking on the main role at short notice. Thanks to all of you who came and supported this production. We hope you enjoyed the quirky humour and watching some new, as well as older members of the cast. You were a great audience by the way!
The July Production
The dates for this production are July 7th and 8th
We will be doing “Brenton Versus Brenton” by David Tristram, which we originally performed about 16 years ago at the Little Theatre. We’re looking forward to doing it again, and we’re sure you will enjoy it. This outrageous spoof of American soaps and mini-series, is set in the manic world of Chicago’s biggest advertising agency and is hugely funny! Chris Green will be directing, and rehearsals are underway.
The production will be in the best traditions of The Rep, offering comedy, supper, and a raffle in the relaxed atmosphere of the Ukrainian Centre.
Look out for details later,
The Edinburgh Festival
The Rep’s application to perform at the Edinburgh Festival has been approved, and our young members will be performing “Sparkle Shark”at the C venue, Royale Studio space 6, near George Street and Hanover Square, between August 2nd and Sat 12th inclusive.
This venture is a “first” for the Rep. It will be an exciting and memorable experience for those taking part. If you are able make the journey up to Edinburgh, or you’re going anyway, you would certainly be assured of a very warm welcome from Justine and our young members of the cast.
The Website
Our website has been out of action for a few months, but we are busy setting up a new one. Please look out for news of that.
Thanks for your continued support in coming to see our productions. We all value your attendance, and hope to see you at the next comedy evening for “Brenton versus Brenton”!
Best Wishes
