REP NEWSLETTER MAY 2019
The Ukrainian Centre was transformed with bunting and posters, creating a World War Two vintage atmosphere for our April production of “Greyhounds”. The theme continued into the nostalgic after show buffet, with sandwiches and cake recipes from the war years. Laura Crow, the talented writer of the play, made a visit, bringing members of her cast of “Greyhounds”, which is currently on a national tour. There was a warm and lively atmosphere in the venue over the two nights, as the audience responded to the poignant story and skillful performances onstage.
Thanks to Chris and everyone, onstage and off, who helped make this a successful and very enjoyable production.
